Garden Birds

Wengchun just came back to KL after spending the weekend over in Melaka. The weather was not too good to go to birding sites so, he decided to shoot the garden birds. Here are some of the shots taken handheld with Nikon 300mm F4 + Kenko 1.4x teleconverter on a Nikon D80 body.

Every morning, the same species of birds will visit the mango tree and its surrounding which include black-nape oriole, asian koel, yellow-vented bulbul, common tailorbird, scaly-breasted munia, common myna, javan myna, peaceful dove, brown shrike and blue-tailed bee-eater. Other species can be found at the riverside e.g. little egret and purple heron.
