Our New Lens
Today, we expand our photography gears collection with a Nikon 300mm F4 AFS and a Kenko 1.4x TC. We discovered that this is a nice combination, so we test it out at Putrajaya Heronry and shot the painted stork. The combo is not very light nor heavy but we were able to take shots with it without the help of tripod. But the results could be slightly better with a support though. Here is a shot to share. This is a sharp lens. It doesn’t hunt too much like the Sigma 170-500mm but we believe it will be slightly quicker without the TC. We need to test it under the forest condition next.
